    Ginger Cupcakes

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    2/3 c Molasses
    1/2 c Sugar
    1/2 c Shortening
    1 ts Ginger
    1 ts Cinnamon
    1 ts Baking soda
    2 c Cake flour -- sifted
    1 c Sour milk
    2 Eggs -- beaten

    Heat first 5 ingredients to boiling, stirring constantly. Cool to
    lukewarm. Sift soda and flour together and add alternately with
    milk and eggs, beating thoroughly after each addition. Pour into
    greased muffin pans and bake in a 350?F oven for 15 minutes.

    Yield: 16 Cupcakes
